Thanks so much for stopping by... We love company.

I am Billie Morton, and along with my daughter, have been raising Boxers, Yorkshire Terriers and a few farm animals for about 7yrs now. I was sold on Boxers when my cousin talked about her dream of raising them one day and what wonderful family dogs they were. She went on and on about how sweet they were. It got my curiosity up, hum, would I like one of these dogs too. My youngest at the time was only 1½ yrs old and I was concerned about a large dog trampling her in excitement. We found Lady when Sarah was 2½ and never did the thought come into Lady's sweet mind to play roughly with the cute little blonde that seemed to be attached to her at all times. Lady was all my cousin had bragged and more. She has been the best of friends to me, sitting patiently through boring movies just for a little sofa time with Mom, playing under the trampoline while Sarah was too busy to play with her, sitting at the stairs to go to bed with her favorite fellow, Joseph.

I was sooo pleased with Lady and how well we got along I decided these 10 acres we had was plenty for a few more pretty girls. Then came Dakota.

I have a dear friend that had a little couple, General and Dixie. (we live in the south). They were beautiful little Yorkshire Terriers. My little girl kept begging for a little doggie to play with too. She actually has begged for a great many pets...about 12 rabbits, 24 goats, we have chickens, ducks, and a couple of cats at any given time. She is a nature lover and true lover of anything living....EVEN lizards!!! Well, back to my story about the Yorkies, I finally went all the way to Kentucky for my first Yorkshire Terrier, then came my second, and third... They are cuties too. They definitely have different personalities than do Boxers but they are fun all the same.

We love our family and add to it occasionally still. I am 39yrs old and stay at home with my daughter instead of working outside of the home. We do work on our farm to provide some income thru out the year but with home schooling time can be very slim...smiling. I would love to hear from you if you might be interested in one of our puppies. They are all taken care with lots of love.

Thanks again for stopping in.

For those of you with additional questions...here are a few answers. But, if you don't find your answer here, feel free to contact me with those questions. Next time you visit our site you may find that I have added that answer to the page too!
I feed all my pets Nutro Natural Balance. The Boxers get the large breed formula and of course, the Yorkies get the small breed. I feed all of my girls twice a day though for different reasons. The boxers need their energy spread out to help them stay fit and trim like they are suppose to be. If you feed them all their required food for the day they can get fat and tend to get lazy in the afternoons with no energy left in the evening. I actually change the amount I feed them from summer to winter months, too. Now with the Yorkies, they do better with feeding twice a day because of their size....they are so small, they can get weak, low sugar, etc if fed only once a day.

I do kennel train all my dogs because I do not want them wondering around in the house unattended during the night....smiling. With all the research I did prior to getting my babies I found that they like boundaries just like children and actually like having their own little house(escape) from everyone else. With dogs (as well as people) there is a pecking order to things and the smallest isn't always at the bottom of the pile. Actually, Marissa, is the leader of my Boxers. She is a little shorter than Lady but stockier and she knows it! She is ten pounds less than Dakota on a good day and can still take her....Dakota is just a big sweetie!

I only breed my girls once every other cycle to keep them strong and healthy. And I have waited until their 2nd or 3rd cycle to begin breeding. My goal is to be a responsible breeder, raising only the best quality with correct formation and personality.

I have shipped puppies as far as California and Puerto Rico. The pups must be 8 weeks old to ship and sometimes shipping cannot be done in the summer due to the heat. I can provide references upon request and you may verify with Dr. Dennard of Gordon Animal Clinic, 2686 Dennard Hardy Road, Gordon, Georgia, 478-628-5376 as to the health and care of any of my pets or puppies. I do take my puppies to Dr. Dennard for all shots and wormings. I am by no means a veterinarian and do not want that responsibility....
